Task

 

Now that we know which disorder our patient suffers from, we will try our sent to help the patient and the family with the treatment.

1.  As a group you will read the article "What is Gene Testing?" and answer the questions an this document.  Save and attach the document to the back of your report as an appendix.

2. Each team member will take on a role of doctor, genetic counselor or genetic scientist.  Research the disorder within your assigned role, using the links listed on the resource page,  and on the roles page.  

3. Use the notes sheet to record information that is relevant to your role.  The notes sheet will be handed in with the final presentation.

4. Create a complete medical history report for your patient.  Include all of the                      information, graphs, charts and images in the report.  include:

6.  Prepare a 5 minute oral presentation in which all three group members present their individual research.
