read the lesson from the standard gmara. If you get stuck, close the
standard gmara and read the linear another time or two. Close the linear
and read the standard. Never have both open at the same time. Use of
your memory in this way is crucial to the process. |

Read the linear five times with the
English translation. Then read it from the standard. If you get stuck,
do as you did on Step #1. Use of memory is crucial. This may be
frustrating sometimes, but it's important. |
