Welcome to my class! I always enjoy meeting and getting
to know my students.
I was born and raised
in Chicago. After graduating from high school, I studied in Israel at
Orot Israel College in Elkana, where I completed their Overseas Teacher
Training Program. When I returned to America I studied at the
University of Illinois at Chicago. I graduated from the
Blitstein Teachers' Institute with degrees in both Judaic
Studies and English.
I am entering my tenth
year of teaching, and my fifth year at Hillel Torah. Before coming to Hillel Torah, I taught at both
the Ida Crown Jewish Academy and Hanna Sacks Girls High School.
I am married and have
four wonderful children. My hobbies include playing with my
children, hockey, kickboxing, and reading.
My goals in teaching
are to help my students love learning Torah, and for each student to develop
learning skills in the way which is best for him or her.
Please feel free to come and see me with any questions
or concerns you may have. After all, I am here for you!
